Jo Anne's Story
Life
Shortly after graduating, I enlisted in the USAirforce. Spent several months in Texas for training and then was sent to NJ for my first assignment. My last assignment was in Wiesbaden, Gerrmany. I knew all those high school German classes had to have been for a reason!
Met my future husband while stationed in Jersey. We got married in '68 after he returned from Viet Nam.
Spent 30 years living in PA, where we raised our 2 daughters and son. Spent most of those years being a "stay ...Expand for more
at home mom".
Relocated to Mesa, AZ as hubby took early retirement from USAirways and took on another job with a company that caters the various airlines. We needed to move to where the sun DOES shine. What a nice change this has been for us.
Had to give up the wonderful sunny days of AZ, and have moved back East where we bought a home in Willow Spring,NC. We decided it would be better to live closer to all of our kids and grandchildren than to keep missing out on the lives of all of them.
